ABOUT ABOUT

Join us for an intimate house concert featuring the Bay Area's own Heather Combs and Rick Hardin with special guest, Quinn Hailey.

If you were with us for Heather's shows last summer or Rick's show in Sonoma in 2016, you know this is one you don't want to miss. Whenever they play, especially on the same stage, it's always a blast and always inspiring. They are both world-class songwriters and I'm honored to get the chance to present them again at Inside Lands.

This music party will take place in a private home in Novato, the ideal listening space for Amie's music—but that means space is limited to only 45 seats. To reserve your spot, please make an advance donation here on Ticketleap. Suggested donation is $20. All donations go to the musicians.

If you prefer to donate at the door, RSVP to [email protected] and I'll send you the address. Note that only we can only guarantee a space to those who make a reservation here on Ticketleap.

Looking forward to seeing you at Susannah's house in Novato on Saturday night, June 16!

ABOUT THE ARTISTS

Heather Combs, a Gainesville, Florida native now living in California, is a powerhouse on stage. A little bit reckless, a little irreverent but mostly wielding an authentic heart – put her on a stage and within minutes she can turn the eye of a new batch of faithful fans. Her voice is sweet and then rough, strong and then vulnerable, but always honest and true. She plays guitar with reckless abandon and isn't afraid to show the listener who she really is. And now Combs brings us Everybody Has Their Turn, an album packed with all the passion and personality of her live shows.

In her fifteen+ year career, she has shared the stage with many fantastic musicians such as Stevie Nicks, Tom Petty, Steve Earle, Sheryl Crow, Kasey Chambers, Todd Snider, Los Lobos and the Go-Gos. Heather’s songs have been featured in hit TV shows such as ER and Grey’s Anatomy. She is fiery, funny, intense and not afraid to take risks. Having been named “Best Band in the Bay” by San Francisco Magazine twice and a part of KFOG’s Local Scene CD, Heather thrives on connecting with the audience and Everybody Has Their Turn is the perfect extension of that.

When people come to hear Rick Hardin they know they're in for an amazing voice and thought provoking imagery. He's a songwriter who knows how to express his heart and he has a vocal quality that adds depth to his words. It would be hard to find a performer more in their element on stage; Rick goes somewhere far away while he’s playing and takes the crowd there with him.
Born in Napa, CA, and raised in Sonoma, Rick Hardin has been writing songs for longer than he can recall. Since 2005 when he released his first Solo EP he has been voice to remember in the SF Bay Music Scene. Over the last ten years, he has frequented the Fillmore’s Poster Room, The KFOG Morning Show, Cafe’ Du Nord, The Mystic Theater and many venues in the SF bay area.

“House concerts and songwriter nights are some of my favorite shows, you can’t beat being face to face with the audience; its challenging, exciting and addictive. I’m really lucky to have amazing songwriting partners, Bonnie Hayes and Scott Lipsitz have been my greatest coaches and inspirations. Working on songs with people who are so creative and capable is a true pleasure.”
