ABOUT THE ARTISTS

Jimbo Scott is a songwriter who was born in Memphis, Tennessee, and raised in Oakland, California. Steeped in traditions of folk, roots, country, bluegrass and rock, Jimbo is most well known for his rich voice.  In his most recent releases, “The Parklands” and “Good and Kind”, Jimbo focuses on sharing his perspectives on relationships with nature and community. His keen sense of introspection makes his songs both revealing and resonant. In 2018, Jimbo has joined the ranks of Poor Man’s Whiskey, a longstanding fixture of the Northern California music scene.  He also continues to perform throughout the Bay Area and Northern California as a solo act, with his full band, and his project with Grover Anderson, called Freight.

Susan Zelinsky is a singer/songwriter/actress who is well-known in Marin music circles as the producer of the annual Wine, Women & Song benefit events. She's also recorded two CDs of original songs: Believe and Cautionary Tales, and traveled to Paris a few years back to record one of her original tunes, "Goodbye," for the album Electro Magnetic Love Reaction. Musical theater fans of Marin may know Susan best from her leading roles in many Mountain Play productions, including Hairspray, Hair, Mama Mia, Music Man, West Side Story, My Fair Lady, Guys and Dolls, and A Funny Thing Happened...
